Book Your Very own Explorasaurus Party!

We have two private party rooms for children’s parties;

  • TRICERATOPS room can accommodate up to 45 children (min 15)

  • STEGOSAURUS room can accommodate up to 25 children (min 10)

We do not host parties nor do we book tables in the café 

The price per child is $28 excluding catering, with a minimum of 10 children in the STEGOSAURUS room and 15 children in the TRICERATOPS room. Food orders are extra and can be ordered during the booking process.

No outside food nor drinks are permitted but you may bring your own birthday cake if you choose. We will supply the cake stand and knife.

What’s included

The Party Plan at $28 per child includes:

  • Your private party room for two hours 

  • Party invitations

  • 1 x plate, 1 x cup, 1 x spoon + fork and napkins for the # of children you book

  • Tables and chairs for the # of children you book

  • Cake stand + knife (you may bring your own birthday cake)

  • Four pairs of serving tongs 

  • Water jugs (refillable at no further cost)

  • A free entry ticket valid for six months from the party date, for each paying child party guest

  • Play-time can continue on the party day until the close of EXPLORASAURUS

  • 10 x chairs for adults (must remain in the party room)

  • Two or more serving tables 

  • Shelving for shoes, bags, presents, etc

  • There are no cooking facilities in the party room

  • Bins for:

    (i) Green/Compostable waste

    (ii) Recyclable waste

    (iii) General waste (landfill)

    (iv) Containers for Change

Booking Process

  • The booking process includes options to choose the DATE, TIME, ROOM and MENU items for your party

  • Once you have booked, you will receive an email summary of your booking + receipt for your deposit

  • We will telephone you the week before your party to check on your plans and if you have any changes and to settle your payment 

  • Food you order will be presented on platters

  • If any of your guests have food allergies, please let us know.

  • We can provide additional plates and cutlery for attending adults for $1.50 (incl. plate, spoon, fork). These can be purchased during the booking process

Cancellation & Change of date policy

If you need to move your booking, we will do our best to assist you find an alternative date at no additional cost!

  • If you cancel four weeks or more in advance of the party date, we will provide a full refund of your payment

  • If you cancel less than four weeks in advance of the party date but more than one week before the party date, we will provide a 50% refund of your payment

  • If you cancel 1 week or less before the party date you will forfeit your deposit.

At The End of Your Party Time

At the end of the two-hour booking guests must vacate the party room

  • The party cannot be relocated to the café

  • Play-time can continue on the party day until the close of EXPLORASAURUS

Room Cleaning and Separation Of Waste

Currently we DO NOT charge an additional cleaning fee

  • Your clean-up time is included in your two-hour booking

  • It will help us and educate the kids if you separate waste into the correct bins in your party room

  • Please leave the room tidy

  • We do the final clean of wiping tables and chairs, vacuuming and replacing bins, after you have tidied and vacated the room

  • We will start to assist you with cleaning ten minutes before your scheduled finish time

  • We provide bins for:

    1. Green/Compostable waste

    2. Recyclable waste

    3. General waste (landfill)

    4. Containers for Change
